Abdullah Cem Akın is the new WAKO Pro Intercontinental Champion

WAKO Pro Intercontinental Title Fight Yaoundé, Cameroon

On 5th of April during the 4th WAKO African Chamoionship in Yaoundé, Cameroun, a WAKO Pro Intercontinental Title fight in Low Kick Kg -94,10 took place between Abdullah Cem AKIN (Turkey) and the former African Champion Patrice Tcounke (Cameroun). Turkish fighter Abdullah Cem AKIN won the match and became the new WAKO Pro Intercontinental Champion.

Salim Kaiyci, President of Turkish Kickboxing Federation, WAKO (IF) Executive Board member and WAKO Europe Vice Presdient, and Mr. Ömer Faruk DOĞAN, Turkey’s ambassador in Cameroun followed the fight together in protocole tribune.

Title bout was organized and promoted by Mr Emmanuel Essissima, President of Federation Camerounaise de Kick-Boxing & Disciplines Affinitaires and president of WAKO Africa Kickboxing Confederation in cooperation with Mr.Nasser Massiri, WAKO (IF) Vice President and WAKO Asia President, who was also there for the event. We hope to see more qualified kickboxing events in Africa as this one in the future.
