Dr. Richard LEYRER, WAKO IF Vice President Has Passed Away

We are very sad to announce that during the day, who died in one of the greatest Hungarian sports leader, Dr. Richard Leyrer, who was President of Hungarian Kickboxing Federation, Vice President of WAKO IF and Hungarian NOC.

Dr. Richard Reyrer was the first sports man ever to became Vice President of Hungarian NOC as a representative of a non-Olyimpic sport.

A lawyer by sports leader in addition to the non-Olympic sports recognized by many underage athletes in defense, as well as to make 2014 a special category created for Sports Stars Gala in non-Olympic sports athletes for by the website of the Hungarian Olympic Committee,.

He was an athlete since his childhood. Fought in the ring, and the life. After graduating from university studies in law, and also dabbled in karate. Meanwhile, police entered orbit, then helped the Hungarian entrepreneur Kickboxing Association’s work.

Heroically and selflessly fought rise of sport, the protection of minors athletes, as well as the recognition of non-Olympic sportsBeloved president, Richard Leyrer, age 66, passed away tragically on Saturday morningHis memory is preserved forever in our hearts.
