International Kickboxing Festival will take place in Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil on 4th – 7th September 2014.

The festival will consist of competitive, capacitive and participatory activities.

Capacitive Activity

Capacitive activity of the festival will be the international arbitration course which will be administered by the Chief Director of Arbitration of WAKO Europe, Yury Lakhtikov from Latvia, including the procedures for ring and mat, aiming to train and classify the referees in the department of WAKO.

Participatory Activity

Participatory activity of the event will be open technical kickboxing courses that will be conducted by three well known kickboxing idols. These idols are:

Don WilsonDon “The Dragon” Wilson

One of the greatest fighters in the history of Kickboxing, who won the world title 11 times. He is a member of the hall of fame martial arts, a kickboxer who has scored 47 knockouts in his career, which lasted five decades. He is a famous Hollywood actor who starred in many action movies.

 

Semmy SchiltSemmy Schilt

Semmy “SemSchilt is a Dutch kickboxer and karateka. He was the Heavyweight Grand Slam Glory 2013 Champion and four time (three consecutive) World GP K-1 Champion. Also shares with Ernesto Hoost‘s record for most GPs won.

 

Roy BakerRoy Baker

Roy Baker is three times European champion and four times world champion, technical personnel of 08 world championships, he built an unrivaled history in Point Fighting between 1982-2002. He is Executive Board Member of WAKO (IF) and First Vice President of WAKO Europe and promoter of higher stage of the World Cup WAKO. He is also promoter of Irish Open, which in 2014 featured more than 3,500 athletes registered.

Competitive Activity

Brazilian Kickboxing Cup

Brazilian Kickboxing Cup will be the competitive activity of the International Kickboxing Festival. This event will be selection of  Brazilian National Kickboxing Team for Panamerican Championships 2014. This event will take place in Waldemar Blatkauskas Municipal Gymnasium.
